Information to Authors
We are pleased to inform you that CODEC 2026 will be held from December 19–21, 2026, at Bose Institute Unified Academic Campus, EN 80, Sector V, Bidhan Nagar, Kolkata – 700091, West Bengal, India.
The information and guidelines regarding camera-ready paper submission, copyright submission, and conference registration are provided below for your reference. We request all authors to carefully follow each of the steps and adhere to the specified deadlines to ensure a smooth and timely completion of the publication process.
Please read the instructions carefully. Failure to complete the required steps within the specified deadlines may result in the withdrawal of the paper from the conference proceedings.

Author's Guideline
Publication and Camera-Ready Submission
Accepted and presented papers will be considered for publication in the IET (UK) Conference Proceedings (Scopus Indexed).
Authors who wish to have their papers considered for publication are required to submit the camera-ready paper (4–6 pages) and all necessary documents through the CMT portal, following the guidelines provided below.
Reviewers' Comments
The reviewers' comments are available in the CMT Author Console.
Authors are requested to carefully review all comments and suggestions and incorporate the necessary revisions while preparing the final version of the paper.
A separate “Response to Reviewers” file should be submitted in PDF format, indicating how the reviewers' comments have been addressed.
Camera-Ready Paper
Authors are requested to prepare the 4–6 page final version of the paper using the Camera-Ready Paper Template (DOC Version and PDF Version) provided on the conference website.
Additionally, a sample IET Conference Proceedings paper has been provided above as a reference to help authors prepare their camera-ready papers in the prescribed format.
The 4-6 page camera-ready paper should be submitted in both DOC/DOCX and PDF formats through the CMT portal. Please use the following file-naming convention:

Copyright Form
The duly completed and signed Copyright Form should be submitted in PDF format along with the camera-ready paper. Please use the following file-naming convention:

Response to Reviewers
Authors are requested to incorporate the reviewers' comments and suggestions in the final version of the paper.
In addition, a separate “Response to Reviewers” document in PDF format should be submitted, clearly indicating how the reviewers' comments have been addressed. Please use the following file-naming convention:

Originality of Submission
The submitted work must be original and unpublished, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission.
AI Content and Plagiarism/Similarity Check
Authors are required to submit AI-content and plagiarism/similarity check reports in PDF format, generated using DrillBit, iThenticate, or Turnitin. Please use the following file-naming convention:

Authors are requested to ensure that all the required documents listed below have been prepared and are ready for upload before accessing the Camera-Ready Submission Link in the CMT portal.
Presentation Guidelines
ORAL PRESENTATION
Each oral presentation will be strictly limited to 10 minutes, followed by 2 minutes for discussion/Q&A. We kindly request you to keep the presentation within the allotted time to ensure the smooth conduct of the technical sessions.
You are requested to upload the Presentation Slides (PPT/PPTX/PDF) for oral presentation using the Google Form below:
POSTER PRESENTATION
The details of the poster presentation will be updated soon.
Detailed guidelines regarding oral and poster presentations will be made available on the Instruction for Presentation webpage of the CODEC 2026 website. Authors are requested to follow the presentation guidelines carefully once they are published.
Registration
The presenter of the accepted paper (oral and poster) must be registered for the conference. Please note that one registration covers one paper only.
Authors are encouraged to avail themselves of the Early Bird Registration, which offers additional financial benefits. The details of the registration information will be available in the Registration webpage.
Publication Opportunity
All accepted (oral and poster) and presented papers will be published in IET (UK) Conference Proceedings (Scopus Indexed).
Selected papers will be considered for publication as extended versions in Journal of The Institution of Engineers (India): Series B, subject to the journal's peer-review process.
