Information to Authors

Authors intending to submit their work to CODEC 2026 are requested to carefully follow the guidelines below while preparing and submitting their manuscripts.

1. Submission Format

Authors are required to submit a 4-6 pages full paper prepared in accordance with the official conference template available on the conference website. The full paper should clearly outline the objectives, methodology, key findings, and significance of the research work.

2. Selection of Track

During submission, authors must select the most appropriate conference track that best represents the subject area and scope of their manuscript.

3. Originality of Submission

The submitted work must be original and unpublished, and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission.

4. Plagiarism Policy

All submissions will be checked for plagiarism and academic integrity. Manuscripts containing plagiarism or substantial overlap with previously published work will be rejected without further review.

5. Submission System

All manuscripts must be submitted electronically through the Microsoft CMT submission system using the submission link https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/CODEC2026/Submission/Index

6. Peer Review Process

All submitted extended abstracts will undergo a peer-review process conducted by members of the Technical Program Committee and external reviewers. Submissions will be evaluated based on originality, technical quality, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the conference themes.

7. Notification of Acceptance

Authors will be informed of the review outcome according to the schedule specified in the Important Dates section of the conference website. If any minor corrections are suggested, the authors must incorporate them within the stipulated date.

8. Registration and Presentation

At least one author of each accepted submission must register for the conference and present the work in the designated technical session. One registered author can present a maximum of two papers in the conference.

9. Publication Opportunity

All accepted and presented papers will be published as book chapters in the conference proceedings with ISBN.

Selected papers will be considered for publication as extended versions in Journal of The Institution of Engineers (India): Series B, subject to the journal's peer-review process.
