Publication Ethics & Malpractice Statement

Our Commitment

CODEC 2026 is committed to maintaining the highest standards of research integrity and ethics in its publication process. To ensure the integrity, transparency, and quality of the publication process, it is essential that all parties involved—including authors, reviewers, and editors—adhere to the highest standards of publication ethics. This statement sets forth the ethical principles and responsibilities expected of each participant.

Responsibilities of Authors

All authors submitting manuscripts to the CODEC 2026 conference are expected to adhere to the ethical principles and best practices prescribed below.

Originality

The manuscript should be an original work of the authors and has not been previously published, either in whole or in part, except where appropriately acknowledged. It is also not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Authorship

All listed authors have made substantial intellectual contributions to the conception, design, execution, analysis, or interpretation of the research, have participated in drafting or critically revising the manuscript, have approved the final version, and agree to be accountable for all aspects of the work.

Plagiarism and Copyright

The manuscript contains no plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, or inappropriate text or image duplication. All sources of information, data, figures, and ideas from other works have been properly acknowledged and cited. Necessary permissions have been obtained for any copyrighted material.

Research Integrity

The research has been conducted honestly, accurately, and responsibly. The results presented are genuine and have not been manipulated or misrepresented.

Ethical Approval

Where applicable, the research involving human participants and/or animals was conducted following the relevant institutional and national ethical guidelines, and the necessary ethical approvals and informed consent were obtained. If the study does not involve human participants or animals, ethical approval was not required.

Conflict of Interest

The authors need to declare that there is no financial, professional, or personal conflicts of interest that could have influenced the research or its interpretation. If any potential conflicts exist, they have been fully disclosed in the manuscript.
